Mark Spearman mark.spearman@southbristoldivers.co.uk I joined South Bristol Divers as a Padi Rescue Diver, having enjoyed many diving holidays to places such as Belize and Egypt. I have now polished up my existing skills and developed some further. I now regularly dive in the UK and I am starting the process of becoming a BSAC instructor. Role: Looks after club funds, issues cheques, balances accounts, receives membership fees. |

Karen Jukes karen.jukes@southbristoldivers.co.uk Learnt to dive in 1993 and has been a member of South Bristol Divers since 1994. In that time various members, past and present, has helped me to progress to Dive Leader and Open Water Instructor & enjoys all the aspects of diving - teaching, trips abroad, trips to the seaside, learning about underwater fauna and flora, history of wrecks, mucking about on boats, wet and windy week ends in the pub, etc,. Dave Jones dave.jones@southbristoldivers.co.uk Dave originally joined the club in 1981, but has more recently rekindled his love for diving with the company of his son. Dave has retrained on the modern syllabus and is now a Dive Leader & is on the path to shortly become a BSAC instructor. Role, Keeps Boat & equipment safe. Previous position, Equipment Officer.

John Miller john.miller@southbristoldivers.co.uk "I joined South Bristol Divers in 2003, I learned to Snorkel (before I could swim!) as a kid, after watching, Hans & Lotte Hass on T.V exploring the Mediterranean , but it wasn't until I watched Jacques Cousteau's "Ocean Odyssey" programs that the dive bug bit me. I learned to swim, then qualified as a BSAC 3rd. Class Diver (now called Sports Diver) in 1974, 7progressed to Dive Leader. I love Wreck Dives, my personal best so far has been "the Zenobia","the Million Hope" & "the Thistlegorm. I am getting into Underwater Photography, it's relatively easy to take pictures, but not so, to take good photographs! hopefully I'll manage that over the coming years." Role: To assist with & sort any issues for members, before they become a problem. Website updates. Previous position, Chairman 2006/9. |
